Hu Scenic Areas (March
25, 2007) After lunch, we boarded a tour boat by Tai Hu
and visited a peninsula. Sorry, I don't know the English
name. The name has to do with a turtle with a dragon head
and lion's claws. The boatride was wonderful. The water
was relatively calm. The boat is large and is more like
a ferry. On the upper deck, there's plenty of room to
stroll around or sit on the benches to enjoy the lake.
Upon arrival, we began our leisure walk to different areas
along the fringe of the lake. It was relaxing and Spring
is in the air as we encountered different patches of Spring
flowers beginning to bloom. We went home around 7 p.m.
