XiTang
(April 7, 2007) Today we went with a group of 30 expats traveling and exploring the historic town of XiTang in Jiashan County, Zhejiang Province. The trip took us nearly 3 hours to get there because of road constructions on our way. Once we arrived, we were in awe. We have visited other old watertowns but XiTang is so different and unique by itself. While the canals are much wider, the alleys are extremely narrow. Along the corridors by the waterway, there are shops, small motels, restaurants and sitting areas for tourists. We visited historic homes, the Button Museum... plenty of sightseeings included in the admission. Bring your camera and enjoy a leisure day at XiTang. (Dinner at Rainbow Walk, Jin Ji Hu Lake)
