Shou Xi Hu (Lake),
YangZhou, Jiangsu Province (April 14, 2007) After lunch,
we went to Shou Xi Hu (Skinny West Lake). Since we
are well into Spring, flowers were booming everywhere.
In addition to the scenic areas along the lake, these
flowers adorn and add accent colors to the lake area.
I saw many types of flowers that I have never seen
before. That was eye opening to see such beautiful
creatons in nature. We had a relaxing and leisure
time walking around the lake. Before we headed home,
we stopped by the stuff animals shops. It seemed like
everyone couldn't leave without buying one. They are
lovely and the cost is low, around 20-30 rmb for a
huge stuff animals. Needless to say, the young guys
and gals from our group went nuts buying them. (Yes,
I did say, "guys", didn't I?) So, we went
home with twice as many passengers: people and stuff
animals. Snoopy was too big to be kept in the luggage
shelf. It sat on the laps of two passengers. Snoopy
should be charged for bus fare, don't you think? (He
